Governance Team Secretary

Join us as we transition to a more structured governance team and take the Upper Waitemata Ecology Network (UWEN) through a period of growth and development. With a network of locally based conservation groups doing the mahi, supported by a small team of paid contractors, we need to ensure we have a team of people who can ensure the strategy, finances and legal obligations of the group are being addressed.We would love for someone with previous governance experience to join us as we navigate these changes. Secretarial skills would be great, someone comfortable using Google Drive and taking accurate minutes to help keep everyone on target!Requirements:We meet monthly in the early evening (4 - 5pm ish) in the Hobsonville / Whenuapai area.Time commitment:2 hours a month for meetings, maybe 1 - 2 hours on setting the agenda and finalising the minutes and then some emails will come through over the month as part of the general governance team duties.Getting started:The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below.
