We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Range Ball Collector to join our team. As a key member of our driving range ball collection staff, you'll play an important role in maintaining a top-quality experience for our customers.At Golf Warehouse Riccarton Park, we pride ourselves on providing a top-tier facility for golfers of all skill levels. You will help to provide an environment of the highest standard and presentation.Job Overview:A Range Ball Collector plays a crucial role in ensuring our driving range runs smoothly. You will be responsible for retrieving golf balls from the driving range at the end of the day, ensuring that the area is prepared and ready for golfers the following day. Your work will help ensure smooth daily operations and a well-maintained driving range.We also welcome interest from independent contractors. This role offers the potential to be structured as contract work, allowing you to manage your schedule and/or your team while ensuring the delivery of the key responsibilities of range ball collection. As a contractor, you'll benefit from the opportunity to operate with greater autonomy while still being a vital part of ensuring our driving range is maintained to the highest standard. If you have the necessary skills and equipment, this could be a great opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual.Responsibilities:Use designated equipment to collect golf balls from the driving range efficiently and safely.Operate ball collection machinery and equipment with care.Ensure the range is cleared of balls before closure each day.Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the ball collection equipment.Support the team with additional driving range duties as required.Assist with general maintenance of the range facilities when needed.Requirements:Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Strong attention to detail and a willingness to work independently.Comfortable operating machinery such as a ball collecting vehicle.Physical ability to lift and transport golf balls and equipment.Flexible availability, including evenings and some weekend work. Ball collection commences at the end of shop operational hours of 8/9pm daily and takes approx 2-3 hours to complete working with others.Some afternoon/evening work may be available also.Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.Ideally, you would be available to work 4 days one week and 3 days the following week.
