The Business Development Manager role will be primarily based in our Wellington or Christchurch Regional Offices and will have the following key areas of focus: Play a pivotal role in driving growth at ASB by bringing in new customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and revenue streams. Effectively balance client requirements and expectations with the bank's risk and policy frameworks. Critically assess client systems and processes to identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency. Lead efforts to strengthen team skills and grow the bank's reputation in New Zealand. At least 5 years' experience in a sales manager/business development role with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships. Knowledgeable in transaction banking solutions and products. Demonstrate a strong track record of success in expanding market share and boosting revenue. Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A proactive approach with a proven track record of meeting targets and navigating complex overlapping demands.
