Are you a proactive professional with a knack for expanding client bases in a fast-paced environment? ASB Bank is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in identifying and securing new opportunities, driving growth, and ensuring that we continue to lead the market.
The Business Development Manager role will be primarily based in our Wellington or Christchurch Regional Offices and will have the following key areas of focus:
Play a pivotal role in driving growth at ASB by bringing in new customers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and revenue streams.
Effectively balance client requirements and expectations with the bank's risk and policy frameworks.
Critically assess client systems and processes to identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency.
Lead efforts to strengthen team skills and grow the bank's reputation in New Zealand.
Provide thought leadership and guidance to all relevant stakeholders.

At least 5 years' experience in a sales manager/business development role with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
Knowledgeable in transaction banking solutions and products.
Demonstrate a strong track record of success in expanding market share and boosting revenue.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive approach with a proven track record of meeting targets and navigating complex overlapping demands.
