Nga korero mo te turanga – About the role
You will be responsible for the implementation of the University goals and activities as they relate to the University's inbound study abroad and exchange programme, where international students study on short term programmes across the university, making a key contribution to the diversity of the University's international cohort.
You will build and maintain excellent relationships with institutional partners and other key stakeholders to support the recruitment of students into the University's inbound study abroad and exchange programme. This will include being responsible for supporting students from the point of enquiry, through application and arrival on campus. This role requires you to identify new partnership opportunities to contribute to a programme with sustained growth and diversity.
Ko wai koe? – Who are you?
Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification, and preferably you will have experience in a similar role or be able to demonstrate transferable skills. You will have great communication, planning and organisational skills, an appreciation of other cultures, and a flexible approach to working patterns which will include overseas travel and working outside office hours when necessary and sometimes at short notice.
You must be willing and able to travel overseas and understand the resilience and stamina needed for traveling, sometimes for up to three weeks at a time. You will be able to showcase your positive attitude and customer focused commitment to professional development and ability to learn quickly.
