Environmental, Earth & Geosciences (Science & Technology) About the role As the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Administrator, you fulfil a key function in the Forests business and report to the GIS Specialist.
In your role, you will work collaboratively with the GIS team to provide technical support to the forests team.
Daily tasks in your role are not limited to but could have you involved in the following: Maintaining GIS spatial data and stand records.
Data Administration Updating and maintaining records Providing support for GIS field apps Participating in project work that delivers innovation and business improvement This role is part-time, approximately 20-25 hours a week, based at our Whirinaki site.

You also have: Proven ability to work with computer systems and Office 365 Ability to plan and organise well, multitask, and deliver on promises A GIS diploma or relevant course would be advantageous Experience using ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, or Geomaster would be advantageous An eye for symbology, colours, and aesthetics Ability to work logically and methodically with good attention to detail Excellent written and oral communication skills Proactive about errors or concerns Pride in being a team player Experience in a forestry environment would be advantageous If this sounds like you, consider this your invitation to start your exciting career with Pan Pac and apply now.
