The Opportunity - Te Kainga Rua The opportunity is to join our Whangarei office as a Geotechnical Engineer and grow your skills and experience as part of a vibrant team that is building a strong reputation in the Tai Tokerau region. Our work touches all aspects projects including land development, transport, three waters, and power generation and transmission. In this role, you will plan site investigations, carry out geotechnical design, construction monitoring and project management and be involved throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. You will be able to tap into Beca's technical specialists and multi-disciplined workforce, as well as apply your own expertise to get things done. This is a great hands-on role for an organised, motivated individual with a broad base of geotechnical engineering skills and an eye for the bigger picture. About you - Te Rongoa As a geotechnical engineer, you will be well on your way to gaining Chartered status and have a background in ground investigations, design, and construction supervision of earthworks, piling, retaining walls, and other geotechnical works. You will have a tertiary qualification and proven experience post-graduation within a consultancy environment. You will have 3+ years' experience in the design of geotechnical works, completing design reports, specifications and detailed construction drawings.
