Position Details :
FTE : 0.4 (15 hours per week) Permanent part time
Location : Based at our Manawatu campus in Palmerston North!
Flexibility : Flexible to meet your needs and availability
Environment : Unique and rewarding with adjusted hours and patient load
Support : Paid admin time and administrative support
Collaboration : Work closely with counsellors and wellbeing advisers to enhance student health literacy, benefiting students beyond their Massey years
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver comprehensive primary care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Provide clinical leadership and support to health providers
Ensure services meet legal obligations and adhere to Te Whatu Ora and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
Participate in health service planning, policy development, and continuous improvement
Qualifications and Experience :
Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Experience in General Practice or Family Medicine
Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of health systems and regulations
