Examples of the support on offer include access to the Dunedin written and clinical courses, regular study groups, case preparation, and Saturday morning clinical sessions.
The best of both the clinical and academic worlds through extensive links to the University of Otago's Dunedin School of Medicine.
Working closely with consultants, employed by both the School of Medicine and Health NZ - Te Whatu Ora- Southern, you will have opportunities to link in with those at the forefront of research and/or teaching.
In a department that has a strong academic presence, opportunities for successful candidates will be far and wide, and will involve the ability to undertake research as part of training.

Utu whanui - Salary range This role is covered by the terms and conditions of New Zealand Resident Doctors' Association and 20 DHB Multi Employer Collective 18 June 2024 - 31 July 2026 (NZRDA SECA) and Specialty Trainees of New Zealand and 20 District Health Boards Multi Employer Collective Agreement 14 February 2024 - 28 February 2026 (the STONZ SECA) and the salary will fall between $127,338 - $240,440 dependent on relevant experience.
