SPEX are expanding and investing in Rolleston as the key manufacturing facility. In addition, through the building of sustainable relationships and a focus on developing capability and resource SPEX have a real opportunity to grow their revenue base by a multiple of 5 across the next 5 years. General Manager Operations is a pivotal role overseeing and optimizing manufacturing and Supply Chain. Reality will require a plan for a production facility that is scalable and can leverage production to meet future demand and growth. You will manage across Manufacturing, Planning, and Supply Chain (Inc' Warehouse Logistics, Inventory and Purchasing) fostering a close working relationship with Sales, Quality and Regulatory. To give effect to your role, you will also then sit within the Senior Management Team (SLT) reporting to the Commercial Manager for Medifab Group. Taking SPEX to the next level will require a strong knowledge and background in best practice for manufacture, with the ability to provide a strategic view and vision that sees the development of a manufacturing model and framework that will support scaling and growth. Given that SPEX are also producing a product that needs to align with regulatory and compliance requirements for multiple countries, a background within technical and or medical based products will be a strong advantage. This role will bring positive change as the business leverages. Change implies the need for strong leadership of a talented team with the ability to focus on one plan for growth with combined team ownership for the plan.
