General Manager Operations – Auckland

Come and join one of Auckland's iconic tourism businesses, which has been providing marine-based experiences for 25 years. This senior leadership role is based in Auckland and oversees the day-to-day running of Explore Group's suite of marine-based cruises and tours.
Explore Group offers a range of marine-based excursions in Auckland, the Bay of Islands, and the Whitsundays. It started with one America's Cup yacht in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1999 and has expanded to be a multi-region and multi-product operation.
The key objective of the role is to manage the daily operations of Explore Group's products in Auckland with 3 direct reports and a team of up to 45 over the summer.
Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in management across operations, staff management, HR, recruitment, and administration.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to motivate and lead teams.Ability to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously.Strong understanding and knowledge of finance, sales, and marketing disciplines.Experience in the marine tourism sector (advantageous but not required).Eligibility to work full-time in New Zealand.Enquiries and applications including your CV and a cover letter can be sent to ******.
