Clubs New Zealand is the leading advocate and service provider for member clubs nationwide, dedicated to supporting their growth and success. We offer guidance, training, and resources to ensure our member clubs are compliant with relevant legislation and operate effectively within the industry.
Purpose of the Position:
As the General Manager - Northern you will report directly to the Chief Executive and collaborate closely with our dedicated team. Your primary focus will be on delivering comprehensive support and expert guidance to our member clubs, helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities within the industry.
Industry Advice and Advocacy: Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining a deep understanding of legislative requirements impacting member clubs, including those related to Incorporated Societies, Sale and Supply of Alcohol, Gambling, Health & Safety in Employment, Employment Relations, and hospitality legislation.
Provide expert advice and assistance to member clubs, with a strong emphasis on constitutional and compliance matters.
Operational Management: Contribute to the development and delivery of Clubs New Zealand's training programmes.
Respond promptly to member enquiries and provide valuable information.
Play a key role in planning and executing the AGM, Conference, and other association events.
Support the CEO with specific club-related tasks as required.
Take on additional projects as they arise, contributing to the ongoing success of Clubs New Zealand.
