They are known as a trusted service provider and partner with the skills, technologies and commitment to quality.About the roleReporting to the Managing Director, and based in their head office in Timaru, the General Manager is a key member of the group's senior leadership team and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the New Zealand business.The current team is around 30 strong – you will lead and develop this talented team of professionals that includes design, mechanical and civil engineers, technicians, inspectors and support team.Key responsibilities include:Develop and implement the company's strategic plans and objectives in New Zealand, to achieve growth and profitability outcomes.Lead and oversee effective operations, financial performance and development of the business, driving continuous improvement initiatives and efficiencies to enhance service delivery.Provide clear leadership and continue to foster a positive team and high-performing culture through effective coaching and communication with the team.Develop and nurture effective relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.Build on existing networks and partnerships with relevant associations and at industry events, to enhance business development opportunities.About youAn innovative and commercial leader you bring experience and capability leading high-performing teams.
