Able to relate to people from all walks of life?We're looking for a Manager to join our team to work alongside our staff, volunteers, and Board.Q-Youth Nelson is a safe place providing support, advocacy, information, and education for queer and trans youth and their friends, family & whanau, schools, workplaces, and wider communities.
The people using Q-Youth are in need of support, at times intensive support, especially those on a learning journey who may find there are significant challenges in their lives.
They need calm, kind energy when they cross our threshold.This role is 15 hours per week.
The work schedule can be hybrid and flexible, with an on-site shift from 12-5 on Thursdays required.The broad responsibilities that are detailed in the position description include:Keep youth, friends, family, and whanau at the centre of what you doProvide leadership, maintain and develop relationships with fundersA star at completing financial and general administration tasksTeam-player that can manage a busy schedule in a busy workplaceAn ethical, conscientious practitioner that is positively engaged on their learning journey of queer culture in the Aotearoa context.For a position description and application pack, please email ******.
