As General Manager of Peppers Clearwater Resort, you will have a key responsibility in leading the resort toward renewed success, focusing on strategies that drive consistent profitability and sustainable growth. Overseeing daily operations, you will ensure the seamless function of every department while inspiring and leading a close-knit team dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience. Supported by a Regional Talent & Culture Manager, Regional General Manager, and Shared Services team, you will have the resources to make a real impact.
Key Benefits Onsite Accommodation available if required Competitive salary package including bonus and superannuation Key Requirements Past experience working with body corporate in a strata or MLR setting Demonstrated success as a hotel/ resort General Manager or equivalent leadership role, with a strong understanding of property operations Primary Responsibilities Manage all facets of the property including strategic leadership, commercial performance, recruiting & training, customer service and achievement of financial targets Be responsible for leading and developing your team Drive change and improvements in performance and implement strategies in line with business objectives Leverage your influential presence to establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, the body corporate, golf club management, guests, and regional shared services teams Maintain excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and balancing expenses Focus on developing a team that is engaged in driving a positive customer sentiment Act as a liaison within the local community, representing Accor and fostering community engagement Skills & Experience Demonstrate prior General Manager experience and a deep understanding across a range of departments and stakeholder management You create environments where your team are encouraged and motivated to be their true self each day Display confidence in your ability to cultivate strong relationships, effectively address challenging situations, and implement solutions that enhance service quality Experience and capability to drive financial growth through skilful & thoughtful strategy Comprehension of the key metrics that impact and grow hospitality businesses, using this knowledge to drive top line revenue and motivating your team to do the same Hold a current New Zealand General Manager Licence (or be willing to obtain one with Accor's support) Accor Benefits ALL Heartist Membership - Take advantage of discounts on accommodation and food & beverage worldwide!
