FLAX & Co. is a beautiful venue in the heart of the Preston's community. We are very excited to be opening our doors in the coming weeks and are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead a team of happy smiley people who love delivering the best hospitality and top-notch food and drink. Flax (Harakeke) is a traditional Maori symbol of community and unity, and we very much want to embody that, enticing visitors from both near and far to join us for brunch, dinner & drinks.
We want to be serving up some of the best coffee in Christchurch, alongside an all-day dining menu inspired by the seasons, washed down with some of our favourite NZ wines and beers from brewers we love.
We know that to deliver this vision we need an enthusiastic and passionate General Manager. Someone that genuinely loves people and is a consummate professional, who will be an exemplary hands-on leader for our team.
Key Responsibilities: A strong knowledge of food, coffee, wine, and drink service with a passion for delivering consistent and memorable dining experiences. Flexible to work a mixture of days, nights, and weekends and be available throughout the festive season. Great communication skills, willing to work closely with the owners and community.
