The Role:They are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the South Island region. As a key member of their leadership team, you will drive their vision and strategic priorities through exceptional people leadership and operational management. You will be instrumental in shaping and leading company culture, enhancing client relationships, and steering business development.
Key Responsibilities:

People Leadership: Cultivate a high-performance team environment. Inspire and motivate your team, fostering talent development and maintaining a stimulating work atmosphere.
Client and Commercial Development: Maintain and build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities. Develop strategic networks and contribute to successful bids and proposals.
Strategic Implementation: Work within their business strategy to develop and implement local strategies for the South Island market. Focus on executing the company's strategic goals.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the South Island business operations, ensuring financial performance aligns with budget projections and quality standards.

Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, manage performance, and develop leadership capability.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building relationships and influencing at all levels.
Take full ownership and responsibility of the South Island region while working collaboratively with the wider New Zealand senior leadership team.
Ability to manage financial performance and interpret financial data to drive business success.
Tertiary qualification and membership in relevant professional bodies.
