Our vision is for all adults and children to live free from domestic and family violence. We also operate the STAR Centre for those who have been affected by sexual abuse.What is the role?An amazing employment opportunity of General Manager has become available. Thispivotal role requires exceptional people skills combined with good organisation, communication, administrative and computer skills. You can expect to lead in giving effect to the Organisation's key strategic plan and direction to achieve successful outcomes.You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with Government and the National Collective contract managers. Providing public awareness is key in this role, to give social commentary on effects and prevention of family harm on women, children, and families.This role requires high level management across many areas such as in financial management including the ability to understand and develop budgets. The preferred applicant would have strong people management skills and experience in developing effective working relationships with Maori, iwi and people from diverse backgrounds.
