Ideally you have a connection to the whenua and have a broad network across the food & fibre sector at a senior level that you can draw upon and influence.You will be a compelling leader capable of bringing our refreshed strategy and brand to life while keeping both eyes firmly focused on the greater good. It is a given that you are a strong operational manager with commercial acumen, so your inspiring leadership, values, commitment to better outcomes for women and your get up and go attitude will be what stands you apart.We are flexible on location and working from home is an option.Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Provide inspiring leadership, setting and executing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with our mission and values.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners, participants, contractors and the community.Cultural Competency: Knowledge and understanding of Maori tikanga (customs) and values across all organisational activities.Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of the organisation, including programme management and financial management.Fundraising: Develop and implement fundraising strategies to ensure the financial sustainability of the organisation.Team Development: Foster a positive and inclusive organisational culture, supporting and developing a high-performing team.Qualifications & Experience:Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the food & fibre sector.Worked at a strategic level with strong General Management background.Good understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Maori Tikanga.Demonstrated commitment to better outcomes for women.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and why they would be great for the role to (emailprotected).
