You must be committed, customer-focused, and enthusiastic about the world of hospitality.The General Manager role would include but is not limited to:Oversee Daily Operations: Manage all aspects of the bar and restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff supervision, and customer service.Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations.Customer Experience: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns, overseeing service quality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.Financial Management: Monitor and control budgets, manage inventory, and optimise profit margins. Handle cash flow, payroll, and financial reporting.Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales. Organize events, promotions, and special activities to attract and retain customers.Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, including health and safety standards.Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
