Are you ready to lead one of New Zealand's most dynamic Rugby Clubs and in doing so shaping its future?We are seeking a dedicated and visionary General Manager to drive the success and growth of our club.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote a warm welcoming inclusive culture within the clubOversee all operations of the rugby club, including financial management, facilities, and personnelDevelop and implement strategic plans to enhance the club's performance on and off the fieldManage staff, coaches, and volunteers to ensure a cohesive and efficient teamBuild and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and the wider rugby communityWhat We're Looking ForProven leadership: Experience in a leadership role within the sports industry, preferably in rugby with a focus on empowering others to execute and deliver positive outcomes for the club.Strong Organisational Skills: Knowledge of a rugby club's operations and governance practices with sound financial management and budgeting abilities.Relationship Management: Maintain and grow key relationships across the club's Management Committee, sponsors, supporters, and key sector stakeholders like the Auckland Rugby Union.Why This Role?Because you have a passion for rugby and a commitment to upholding the values of the sport.
