General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)Full timeOur client, Cemac Commercial Interiors, is a leading provider of high-quality fitouts specialising in delivering bespoke, innovative solutions for a wide range of sectors including retail, hospitality, commercial spaces, and data centres. Going strong since the 1960s, Cemac has been working in tandem with Architects, Designers, Project Managers, and directly with their clients to create innovative and lasting interior spaces. They are a trusted partner and subsequently enjoy a high level of repeat business.The Fitout Division is undergoing a strategic transformation, and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to join the team and lead the business through this exciting journey.The role:You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Fitout Division, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes, driving sales and profitability, and leading the new strategic direction and change. This is a pivotal role for an experienced leader with a strong background in operations, commercial management, and business growth within the construction or commercial fit-out sector.Who we need:Ideally, you'll have a background in the construction industry, preferably with experience in commercial interior fitouts. You are likely to have come from a commercial building or Quantity Surveying background and are used to working with architects, designers, and contractors, specifying and tendering for complex jobs.Strong operations experience and an ability to lead change to improve efficiency and client delivery is key.
