It undertakes project management and design services for manufacture and condition monitoring.
The company has a broad and sophisticated configuration of heavy machining equipment and lifting capacity that will handle most needs. Situated in the Eastern BOP, they have been servicing clients throughout NZ, Australia and the Pacific for over 30 years.
The role of General Manager To ensure the company achieves success through outstanding communication and understanding of customer needs and internal requirements, leading and motivating the management team in fulfilling the organisation's agreed strategies and performance targets, developing and growing markets, improving workshop and engineering efficiencies, quality, safety and health.
10+ years in senior management with leadership experience with staff and customer relationships, preferably in a medium or heavy industry environmentBroad background and knowledge in general mechanical engineeringBE Mechanical degree or similar preferredHigh level of financial, IT and business acumenSuperlative communication skills, both written and oralSales competency in a B2B environmentProblem solverExcellent planning and organisational skills with proven leadership qualities and ability to lead teams.Please note: You must have NZ Residency in place to be considered for this position.
