Job Description:We are looking for an experienced gardener to join our village team for a full-time role, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm. We need someone with gardening or landscaping experience, able to work in an organised and efficient manner and a great team player.
More importantly, we value your genuine passion for creating great environments and love for all kinds of people from all walks of life, along with patience and respect for our village residents.
This is a busy and diverse role, assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day garden maintenance activities.
Therefore, a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best service.
Good time management is also required to complete all your tasks.

Qualifications:Minimum 3 years' gardening experience, including problem-solving skillsRelevant horticultural qualification (desirable)Demonstrated ability to physically perform gardening and landscaping tasksExcellent interpersonal skills with an inclusive and engaging work styleStrong time management and organisational skillsAbility to guide and work effectively in a team Additional Information:To recognise the important work that you do for our residents, we offer: an enthusiastic and supportive village team that is fun to be part ofremuneration in line with qualificationsa great opportunity to gain experience in the retirement industryDue to NZ Immigration requirements, we are obliged to consider candidates that already have the right to work in NZ for this role first.
