Gardener - Fixed Term

Details of the offer

You can help bring our villages to life!
At Summerset, from the moment we start developing a village, to when our residents call it home, it's the passion and dedication of our people that brings our villages to life. We are one team united by being part of something bigger – to bring the best of life to our residents.
The way we work is guided by our values - One Team, Strong Enough to Care and Strive to Be the Best. We know it takes a collective effort to bring a village to life and help it thrive, so Summerset is a place where everyone's uniqueness and diversity can shine.
We are looking for an experienced gardener to join our Warkworth village for a 2-month contract and who is able to start immediately. Work hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
Ideally, you will have gardening or landscaping experience. More important to us will be your genuine passion for creating great environments and love for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
This is a busy and diverse role, assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day garden maintenance activities. Therefore, you will need to be organised and efficient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in service.
You will also need to be a team player and able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks. You will have the ability to work on a full-time basis, 80 hours per fortnight.
To recognise the important work that you do for our residents, we offer:
an enthusiastic and supportive team that is fun to be part of
discounts at a range of suppliers plus much more.
Due to NZ Immigration requirements, we are obliged to consider candidates that already have the right to work in NZ for this role first. Due to this, we may not be able to support a visa application for this role. This role may close early due to an increased number of applications - apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
Apply online for this role or contact ****** for more information.
Summerset is one of New Zealand's largest retirement village developers, owners, and operators building vibrant communities for our residents to live in.
We are proud of our dynamic work environment and an equally diverse workforce, and we aim to give you the best of life, so you can bring the best of life to our residents.
We have a raft of employee benefits, such as:
day-to-day health insurance
your birthday day off
annual company share allocation
sick leave from day 1
long service leave
referral fees for successful introductions
Our fast growth means we can offer a vast range of job opportunities from clinical and village-based support roles to head office and construction roles across multiple sites in cities and towns throughout New Zealand.
There's no better place to develop your career.
