Garden Centre Team Member - Part Time

Kiwis love to garden and we love to assist them with their gardening needs. Mitre 10 is New Zealand's leading gardening retailer, and we are looking for retail assistants with horticultural ability and a customer-focused attitude to join our busy, highly regarded Garden Centre in Dunedin.
We need someone with excellent physical fitness and strength as stock replenishment is part of this role. This is your chance to share your expertise and be part of a passionate and committed team.
Retail is high energy and constantly changing. It's an exciting industry to be in, and Mitre 10 offers great career opportunities supported by industry training qualifications. Previous experience in the garden industry is essential. You will need to have a general passion for all things gardening and retail as well as:
Customer-driven and strives for excellenceEnjoys selling and interacting with people, and is down to earthGood understanding and full appreciation of the importance of health and safety in the workplaceHorticultural knowledge and experienceLove gardening and enjoy sharing their knowledge with othersPhysically fit as heavy lifting is involvedHealth and Safety awarenessThe positions are: Friday and Saturday - 16hrs
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 24hrs
