Funeral Director

The Beauchamp Funeral Home is a highly reputable family-owned Funeral Home with decades of experience providing the highest level of care to families. They are seeking a full-time Funeral Director to join our successful company based in the Manawatu and Rangitikei.
The successful applicant will need to display:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be computer literate and technically capable
Able to take instructions
Physically fit as heavy lifting is sometimes required
Mature and confident with a positive can-do attitude
Attention to detail, well organized and use initiative
Responsible, practical and punctual
Able to work in a team environment
Assist in our mortuary
Intuitive to human behaviour
The ability to manage stressful situations with sensitivity and care
High level of personal presentation
Main responsibilities include:
To oversee the planning, organisation and management of all aspects of funeral services and provide compassionate and respectful support to families and friends of the deceased.
Working an on-call 1 in 3 weekend roster (including nights) and 1 night per week.
On-the-job training from experienced team members will be provided for the right candidate.
A willingness to train as an Embalmer would be advantageous.
