We aim for the best outcomes, and take a positive, strengths-based approach in our parenting content, while staying relatable and real.What is this role?In the Fundraising Director role, you will support the CEO to build relationships with donors, government, and corporate partners. These strategic partnerships are essential in resourcing our work and enabling growth in our programmes. You will oversee the fundraising strategy, support the fundraising team, and oversee all fundraising activities. This includes securing new giving, managing the relationships and activities associated with donors, corporate partners, and government. This position also sits on SLT.Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include:Senior Leadership and Fundraising Team Management, as well as positively contributing to the wider Parenting Place culture.In liaison with the CEO and other relevant consultation, manage the development and implementation of the fundraising plan for the organisation which will achieve the goals for sustainable funding.Develop and manage the Government funding strategy, relations and delivery - with support from the CEO.Develop and lead the Major Donor Strategy, actively work to acquire new & manage existing donor relationships.Explore opportunities for acquiring new corporate partners aligned to our mission.Who are we looking for?Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.Previous experience in relationship management, with excellent communication skills.Proven ability to develop and implement successful fundraising strategies and knowledge of fundraising best practices (ideal, but not essential).You are aligned with our values and are passionate about supporting parents to build strong family relationships!Why you will love this role?Growth opportunities and the chance to make this role your own!Excellent flexibility with work hours/days and arrangements - we are Parenting Place so we understand the juggle!Great well-being support with Health Insurance, EAP, phone allowance!Both personal and professional development opportunities.Birthday Leave – a day off on/around your birthday!Great, supportive culture with a commitment to look after our team well.This is a permanent, part-time appointment.
