Our goal is to provide individuals and whanau with the strength, skills and support they need for a better life experience at home, at work and in the community both now and into the future.Able Minds is seeking a strategic, dynamic and motivated individual to lead its marketing and fundraising portfolio, to refocus its efficacy, expand its coverage and donor base and to deliver on key objectives.This newly created and exciting position is central to ensuring the continued success of Able Minds by creating, driving and executing fundraising and marketing initiatives, campaigns and events, fostering strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships, overseeing marketing budgets, drafting proposals, reports and accountabilities and managing targeted communications.The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, project management or similar, have at least two years in fundraising, events or project coordination, knowledge of the not-for-profit sector and experience with web design and e-communications is desirable.The position is of a wide breadth of duties and therefore requires a multifaceted, driven and highly organised critical thinker who can troubleshoot yet has excellent interpersonal skills enabling them to relate to people from all walks of life.An attractive base salary with incentive scheme is offered. A full New Zealand Driver's Licence is essential.
