Mo te turanga | About the role Work as a partner to the business to advise organisations and individuals on grants, sponsorships and scholarships that are supported by Waikato Regional Council and to manage the associated funding process. Permanent role, 20 hours per week. Develop and manage the funding processes across the business. Develop and maintain an application assessment framework. Develop and maintain an accountability framework to illustrate benefits derived from Councils grants and scholarships. Support the identification and development of new funding opportunities. Mo te tangata | About you Skilled at establishing excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Has an understanding of private and public funding models, opportunities, and potential funders. An enthusiastic team player and able to demonstrate strong leadership. Mo nga pukenga | Qualifications and experience Five or more years working in central and/or local government agencies, non-government organisations, or community sector. Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in relevant disciplines. Mo te tima | About the team Reporting to the Manager Business Advisory Services, you will work within the Finance and business services directorate, which supports the Waikato Regional Council mission through the provision of a broad range of professional services.
