In this role you'll... The key aim of this role is to assist with the financial, tax and reporting requirements for all of Booster's managed funds and superannuation schemes.

Key Responsibilities Management Accounts – Monthly management accounts preparation for all Booster managed funds and superannuation schemes currently Booster Investment Series (BIS), Booster KiwiSaver, Booster SuperScheme, Booster Investment Series 2 and direct investments Funds, Booster Tahi LP and Booster Savvy Fund.
Financial Statements – assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS for all funds, including assisting with the annual audit.
Trustee Reporting – Prepare and submit monthly trustee reports and monthly trustee fee calculations for all Booster Schemes.
Client Wholesale Funds – preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts as well as the annual financial statements.
Corporate Reporting – Assist with monthly journals, management accounts and variance analysis for Booster Investment Management limited, including assisting with the preparation of the annual financial statement and audit.
Listed Fund – Assist with the management of the Listed PIE fund including daily unit pricing, investment purchases, fees, distributions, monthly transactions, fixed assets register and reporting requirements.
Quarterly Compliance Checks – assist with the quarterly compliance analysis and review.
Client Tax Reports – Assist with the preparation and delivery of the BIS managed client's tax reports.
Securities – Review the setup of securities and review existing securities in relation to Tax status.
New Funds – Assist with the implementation of processes and procedures for the accounting and reporting requirements of new or acquired funds.
Maintenance - Assist with the review, improvements, and documentation of procedures.
Support – provide assistance and support in relation to Booster Fund information requests from other Booster teams.
Budget – assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
Other Responsibilities Streamlining of reporting processes as well as developing new reporting processes and procedures.
Maintaining orderly work papers relating to supporting calculations and schedules.
Ensure all procedures are documented and reviewed regularly to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Back up for the Custodian role, Bank reconciliations and Security reconciliations.
Assist with the Booster Savvy daily transactions.
Support the Wider Objectives of the Finance Function Assisting the Finance team members in the finance functions that relate to the Booster Group of companies.
To make a positive contribution to the objectives of the broader finance team in delivering an effective efficient service.
Provide support to the finance team by cross-skilling to ensure cover exists within the team for planned and unplanned leave.
Perform any other tasks reasonably requested.
You'll Have... Experience Ideally 2+ years' experience post qualification.
Experienced in financial reporting (including IFRS).
