OMS LTD, a family-owned and operated Kiwifruit Orchard Management Company, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Kiwifruit Orchard Spray Operator to join our dynamic team. Since our establishment in 2007, we have been based in the heart of Oropi (10 minutes outside of Tauranga), providing our top-tier services to both organic and conventional kiwifruit orchards throughout the Western Bay of Plenty.
Job Responsibilities Operate and maintain our spray equipment
Apply chemicals and fertilisers as per the spray program
Ensure spray operations are conducted according to health and safety regulations
Reporting any mechanical or operational issues
Additional Opportunities We're not just about spraying! At OMS LTD, we understand the value of skill diversification. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to take on other machinery roles, including:
Fertiliser spreading
Mowing and mulching
Groundhogging
During harvest, there will be forklift, tractor and bin cartage roles available

Requirements A minimum Class 2 Truck License
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
