About the role: Join Genesis as a Fuels Commercial Operations Lead and play a key role in powering New Zealand's future. In this role, you'll be at the core of our fuel supply chain, ensuring the steady flow of essential resources like LPG, coal, and biomass. You'll monitor supplies, negotiate contracts, and work with the logistics team to keep a reliable and efficient fuel supply for Genesis. Reporting to the Fuels Commercial Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Manage LPG, coal, and biomass supply contracts including monitoring quantities delivered, specification, and operational issues.Identify contract optimisation opportunities and negotiate with suppliers to deliver strong commercial outcomes.Collaborate with the Commercial Operations team to anticipate future demand, manage stock levels, and support logistics.Foster strong global partnerships to ensure reliable fuel supply and quickly resolve any issues.Handle all contract compliance, documentation, and financial reporting, including monthly reporting.About you: We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building strong relationships, and is excited to make a real impact.
