Heritage Queenstown is one of Queenstown's iconic properties and conference venues with breathtaking views of the Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu. The property features 175 spacious guest rooms and suites with stunning forest, mountains, and lake views. Created from local schist stone, the hotel is reminiscent of an alpine ski lodge and celebrates the beauty of the surroundings.
About the role:
To succeed in this position, you will have at least 1 year of customer service experience and proficiency in using a property management system, particularly 'Opera Cloud', which would be a significant advantage, though naturally training will be given. Attention to detail, a passion for our industry, and a real desire to deliver great guest service are essential, as well as taking ownership of your duties and progress. You must have availability for flexible shift work including weekends, early mornings, and late nights. Previous receptionist experience in a hotel is ideal.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensuring a friendly, professional, and accurate approach with information and billing when assisting guests during check-in and check-out.
Responding to guest queries promptly.
Providing information about the hotel and things to do in Queenstown and New Zealand.
