Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a dynamic team? The Garden Hotel, located in Shirley Christchurch, is looking for an experienced Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our Front Office Department.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Front Office, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficientlyHandle all escalated guest complaints with professionalism and ensure guest satisfaction is achievedCoordinate with other departments and external parties to ensure seamless communication and service deliveryCreate and manage staff rosters to ensure optimal coverage and efficiencyIdentify and implement key areas for operational improvement within the Front OfficeEnsure that group reservations are handled effectively; prior experience in managing group bookings is essentialWhat We're Looking For: Proven experience in a similar Front Office or Guest Relations role, preferably in a hotel environmentStrong background in group reservations managementAbility to self-motivate, problem solve and work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly professional attitudeExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a teamAbility to stay calm under pressure and resolve guest issues with easeStrong attention to detail and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentA proactive approach to identifying opportunities for operational improvementFull New Zealand Drivers LicenseLegal working rights in New ZealandWhy Work With Us?
