Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceGreet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followedAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayRespond to each guest who approaches the Reception DeskDrive rate through up-selling room brandsFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedPhysical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Frequent standing and walking throughout shiftOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps Qualifications
Qualifications Proficiency in English (verbal and written), second language an assetPrevious customer related experience preferredPrevious PMS experience an assetComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications an assetMust be able to type 25 words per minuteMust possess a professional presentationStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
