We're looking for vibrant personalities to form our Front of House and Kitchen crew, who will take pride in hosting guests here at Omata Estate in Russell. You may have previously worked in a café or restaurant, or you may simply be a passionate foodie who would love to be part of a great hospitality team – we're on the hunt for warm personalities and happy to provide training. These are casual positions during our busy spring/summer season, commencing 18 October. Front of House Role Responsibilities Include: Putting our guests first, and serving them in a friendly, welcoming manner Table service Food/drinks running General cleaning Kitchen Role Responsibilities Include: Pizza and platter preparation and presentation Maintain food safety and hygiene standards Dishes and general cleaning We're Looking For: Wine and food enthusiasts Available to work weekends Create a fun, hardworking environment Keep a calm persona when everything is busy around you Must be a NZ resident or hold a current work visa You'll work closely with our Duty Manager, Kitchen Manager and Restaurant/Operations Manager to create memorable dining experiences. Omata Estate is a small boutique vineyard and relaxed style eatery, with a menu serving gourmet platters, wood fired pizza and desserts. We're open 5 days a week (closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), 11am-6pm and occasionally in the evenings for private group functions. You'll love the flexibility these hospitality hours provide, with time to enjoy the beautiful Bay of Islands on your doorstep. Omata is located 8km from the Russell township, so a vehicle is recommended. We can also provide help finding local accommodation if required.
