Fraud Officer

This newly created Fraud Officer role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years' experience in fraud investigations or auditing. Based in central Wellington, you'll join a collaborative team, conducting audits, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance to help protect the community from fraud.
This is a newly created role for someone looking to deepen their experience in fraud and investigations. This is a permanent role is based in central Wellington and will be part of a small but collaborative team in a commercial organization.

The Fraud Officer position is suited to a candidate who has demonstrated experience managing disputes, preforming in-depth inquiries and confidently engaging with diverse stakeholders with the ability to proactively uncover relevant information.

This is an opportunity to contribute to helping to protect the community from fraud and unethical practices.
Your responsibilities will include: Conducting audits and preparing detailed reportsEvaluating compliance with legislation and internal policiesAnalyzing financial data to spot discrepancies and improvement areasSupporting grants processes by assessing applicationsOffering advice on best practices for compliance and efficiencyThe ideal candidate will enjoy problem-solving, collaborating with others, and working in a dynamic environment where they are willing to help out in other areas when needed.
Key requirements are: 1-3 years of experience in fraud investigation, auditing, compliance, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Great communication skills, both written and verbal.A high level of integrity and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.Basic understanding of fraud prevention practices or a willingness to learn.An eagerness to develop and grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment.For more information, contact Gabriella Vettoretti on [email protected] or ******** .
