ASB is seeking a dedicated Fraud Investigator to join our team on a secondment. We have two secondment positions available, one for 8 months and one for 10 months.Mo te turanga|About the Role:This role is pivotal in safeguarding ASB and our customers by conducting thorough investigations and ensuring timely resolutions to fraud disputes.Your key responsibilities include:Investigate and resolve customer fraud disputes promptly and professionally.Conduct comprehensive assessments and reviews to minimize fraud losses to ASB and customers.Provide exceptional service aligned with ASB values, focusing on the customer experience and continuous improvement.Lead by example and provide training to ASB business units and customers as needed.Undertake fraud investigations across digital, lending, and ad hoc workstreams.Conduct interviews with victims, offenders, and witnesses to ensure effective conclusions and compliance with policies and laws.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support investigations and share industry insights.Offer subject matter expertise on fraud-related matters to internal and external parties.Prepare comprehensive case files and represent ASB in court when required.Nga mea kia whai angitu ahau? | What do I need to be successful?Be able to embrace empowerment, trust, and transparency in all interactions.Prioritise customer needs and outcomes.Work effectively under pressure and navigate challenging customer interactions.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.Excellent oral and written communication skills in a business context.Effective time management and organizational abilities, driven and self-motivated.Prior experience or strong interest in investigative techniques.Understanding of core ASB products and services.Ability to make timely and sound decisions under pressure.Ability to relate effectively to diverse stakeholders and backgrounds.Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASBASB is grounded in our values (caring, integrity, passion, courage and united).
