This pivotal role involves developing and implementing formation, governance, and leadership development strategies across our ministries, including education, health, and community services.The ministries (or works) of WMM are:Education - St Mary's College Auckland; Carmel College Auckland; St Mary's College Wellington and St Catherine's College Wellington working together under Whanau Mercy Education Limited; Villa Maria Christchurch; and Te Ngakau Kotahi Ltd (the Mercy Collective common property maintenance/development pool for the 5 Mercy Colleges)Health - Mercy Hospital Dunedin; and Te Korowai Atawhai Mercy Hospice AucklandCommunity Development - Te Waipuna Puawai – Auckland; Mercy Villas – Upper Hutt, and Coolock Cottages - DunedinKey Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of formation and development strategies for the groupCollaborate with ministry leaders to identify and address formation and development needsDeliver cross-ministry programmes for governance, leadership, and mission developmentFoster strong relationships within the organisation and with external networksSkills & Qualifications:Commitment to Catholic values and practicesRelevant qualification in theology or a related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in leadership or governanceStrong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skillsWMM recognises that applicants may not be able to demonstrate all the skills, knowledge, and experience in all items listed in the position description.
