Our client operates 24/7, so the role requires a rotating shift pattern, working 2 x 7am - 7pm, then 2 x 7pm - 7am, then having 4 consecutive days off. You will be working as a key member of a small team across the area, so attendance at work is critical to ensure the operation is appropriately resourced. There is some manual handling required on occasion, and you are on your feet for several hours, so a reasonable level of fitness and strength and agility is required.
This role is an ongoing assignment up to 6 months with the chance of permanent employment for the right candidate!
To be successful in the role you will need: A current forklift licence with reach and counterbalance experience To hold good health and safety practices in the highest regard To be available to work weekends Good computer and data entry skills Strong mechanical aptitude Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team A 'Can do' attitude Able to meet the physical requirements of the role While experience in the food manufacturing industry is advantageous, it's not essential.
