About Role:
Our client is working with major players in the contract civil space, the work is varied, big, and national. On their behalf we are on the hunt for a site supervisor, to manage and deliver projects, while happily working side by side, on the tools, with your team.
Lead a team of up to 6 workers in the field
Hands-on work – dredging, de-watering, underground work, pipe ramming, leak repair
Develop and motivate staff
Coordinate workers, materials, and equipment efficiently
Develop and maintain key customer relationships
Monitor deliverables to ensure successful product delivery
Ensure compliance with company HSEQ policies
Financial and risk management
Participation in accident reporting and loss investigation as required
Specific industry training will be given
As the role is based out of Tuakau there is a preference for South Auckland based candidates. There will, however, be travel required to projects outside Auckland when required.
About You:
Previous experience in general civil works, drainage, dredging, grouting or similar is ideal
Leadership experience
Organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to gather and coordinate work with other team members
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Health and Safety focus
Confined Space, Heights, STMS qualification is ideal
Ability to fit down a manhole
Clean driver's licence
Ability to pass MOJ, medical and drug test prior to employment
