Venues Otautahi venues attract and host a wide range of events in Christchurch and manage a diverse and iconic portfolio of community venues. Venues Otautahi own and manage both the Christchurch Town Hall and Wolfbrook Arena, and manage Apollo Projects Stadium, Hagley Oval, the Air Force Museum of NZ and One New Zealand Stadium (due to open in April 2026).

About the Role
Venues Otautahi is delighted to be accepting applications for a Food and Beverage (F&B) Lead to join our team on a permanent basis.
As a member of the Guest Experience Lead team, you will be right in the thick of it at times, from concerts to conferences and all other events in between. This role is charged with ensuring the smooth delivery of food and beverage services at allocated events, in the lead up to, and on event day.
As a key member of the team, the F&B Lead will support and mentor the casual event delivery staff on event day, collaborate closely with the Culinary Team to ensure the food presentation is to the highest possible standard, monitor alcohol consumption, and go above and beyond to ensure guests and client needs are met.
You will pride yourself on exceeding our client and guest expectations, our guests deserve a great experience, so with the support of a fantastic team, you will help us ensure that is exactly what they get.
About You
The F&B Lead, like all roles at Venues Otautahi, is a hands-on role and will involve evenings and weekend work to meet the needs of our event schedule. You will have a minimum of 3 years prior experience in a F&B Supervisory role and knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
