As a Flooring Sales Consultant, you will consult in store and in home with our customers on the best interiors solutions for their home, measuring and quoting on flooring. About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our Thames team. Your primary focus will be on building strong customer relationships and selling a diverse range of flooring solutions. You'll have the opportunity to engage with customers both in our showroom and in their homes during measure and quote appointments, ensuring a dynamic work environment. You will also have the opportunity to cross-sell with our readymade curtains which will broaden your offering to your customers.
Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist advice on flooring solutions to customers in our Thames showroom. Follow up on customer leads. Measure and estimate flooring requirements, and develop detailed plans. Provide cost estimates, quotes, and close sales. Maintain point of sale (POS) and inventory databases. Foster excellent staff relations between flooring installers, office, and shop staff. Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction. Meet or exceed sales targets. Keep up-to-date with technical product knowledge. You Will Have: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Previous experience in sales. Experience in flooring is strongly desirable.
