We are looking for a Fleet Optimisation Managerto join our team at Travvia HQ near Auckland Airport. In this vital role, you will optimise our fleet availability and enhance the customer experience, ensuring the right vehicles are in the right locations at the right times—essential for our customers and our commercial success.
Key Responsibilities: Manage fleet to optimise availability for revenue generation and fleet uptime. Develop demand forecasting and proactive fleet movement strategies. Reduce reliance on and costs associated with relocation services. Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to leverage pricing for fleet movement. Take ownership of fleet management software to maximise efficiency and performance. Maintain high standards of data quality and accuracy in operational processes. Engage with asset management and operations teams for fleet deliveries, exits, and maintenance planning. Identify opportunities to enhance technology use, including AI, to automate scheduling functions. Source and develop business cases for technology solutions. Establish detailed scheduling-related reporting and dashboards, focusing on costs, savings, and incremental revenue generation. What You'll Bring to the Role: Significant experience scheduling assets in logistics, rental cars, or similar industries. Proven ability to optimise profitability through scheduling, including cost reduction and revenue uplift. Strong attention to detail and the ability to develop detailed forecasting models. Familiarity with relevant technology and automation solutions. An engaging communication style with a strategic mindset, capable of working at all organisational levels Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (business, marketing, tourism, finance, or similar disciplines).
