Full Time Application Closes 06 Sep 2024 Nelson - Tasman Transportation, Storage and Distribution Manager What You'll Do: Be the go-to person for our drivers, offering support and solutions for any challenges they face on the road.
Design and adjust delivery routes to ensure we meet customer needs efficiently while keeping drivers on schedule.
Onboard new drivers, providing them with the training they need to succeed and keeping the entire team updated with ongoing training sessions.
Oversee safety practices, including regular truck fleet inspections and ensuring all drivers adhere to road safety regulations.
Facilitate clear communication and feedback between drivers and the rest of the team to ensure everyone is working cohesively towards our goals.
Split your time between office-based tasks and supporting your fleet team on the road.
What We Expect: Uphold top Health and Safety standards, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
Rigorously follow Food Safety guidelines to ensure compliance and quality.
Achieve performance targets, including maintaining accurate training records, managing truck cleaning schedules, and adhering to logbook requirements.
Be ready to step in and assist wherever needed, whether it's on the road or in the office, demonstrating flexibility and a hands-on approach.
