Fixed Contract - Hybrid Cash Security Officer Armourguard, New Zealand's leading security company, trusted by our customers since 1939.
We are looking for someone to join our Armourguard Cash Services team in Queenstown on a fixed 3-month contract immediately, that provides essential services for the cash and banking industries across the region.
Important to understand when your region or NZ shut down, Cash Services remains open as this is an essential service for the banking industry and the public.
About the role:
For this hybrid Cash Processor and Cash in Transit Security Officer role, you'll be part of a 2-man crew servicing commercial customers, banks, and ATMs. You will also work in a secure facility monitored 24/7 where there will be packing, counting, and verifying money (manual handling) and/or (machine-based work). You will meet tight deadlines to achieve the targets for the Queenstown branch.

Mandatory Requirements:
Must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks to progress through the recruitment process. As a minimum these will include: Driver Licence
Credit
Ministry of Justice Criminal History Checks
Immigration

Resides in the Queenstown region
Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
High energetic person as you will be constantly on the go
Hold current COA Certificate of Approval or ability to obtain one
Articulate and a comprehensive understanding of the written and spoken English language, a must!
Reliable & Trustworthy
Our Ideal Candidate:
Strong numeracy skills and previous security experience an advantage
Previous driving experience for a company
A quick learner who retains knowledge of training
Having the right attitude
Has proven experience always following procedures
Previous experience meeting tight deadlines
Understanding of customer centric
Can provide excellent service to our clients
Have worked within a team collaboratively
Completed a defensive driving course preferable
Have experience driving tactically, preferable
