Fitter Welder

we are looking for fitter welders to join our team. You will be rostered to work with guaranteed 30 hours per week. Pay will range from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. 
 
Job Description for This Position
 
    Studying drawings to determine job requirements
    Selecting cleaning and preparing metal stock
    Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools and metal cutting machines
    Joining metal sections using various welding techniques bolting and riveting
    Finishing products by cleaning polishing filing and bathing in acidic solutions
    Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing and grinding
    Assembly steel structure on site
 
Key Requirements for Successful Applicants:
    Experience preferred for Fitter Welder in pipe welder environment
    Can read and interpret plans/ engineering drawings
    Health and safety conscious
    Be able to work unsupervised and in a team both in the workshop and on the site
    Be enthusiastic motivated and show initiative
    Work to a high standard
    Be self motivated punctual and ready to work
    Be able to work for nightshift and/or on the weekend
