Carpenters (3 Vacancies)

We prefer the candidates who have:
At least three years of proven relevant working experience in residential and commercial construction (preferably with at least one year of experience in New Zealand)  OR you have qualification of NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) or equivalent Proficiency with carpentry materials, manual equipment, and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers ect.) Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Commitment to safety guidelines Physically fit for building work  Ability to work independently and as part of a team Description of the role:
Interpret buleprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layouts and determine necessary materials, dimensions and installation procedures. Shape and cut materials to specific measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saw.  Measure, mark cutting lines, assemble, and secure materials to form framework.  Erect frameworks, roof framing, and lay sub-flooring and floorboards, ensuring structural accuracy.  Order and select timbers and materials. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.  Construct or repair doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures.  Attach fascia panels, install roof sheathing and apply exterior wall cladding.  Ensure high-quality work completion within agreed timelines.  Maintain records, document actions and present written progress reports.  Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
