Build your best future with the Johnson Controls team We are needing a Fire Systems Tester to join our team in Invercargill! Your main objective is testing and surveying of fire systems, emergency lighting and Building Warrant of Fitness Inspection to the current New Zealand Standard requirements while maintaining and developing existing customer relationships.

What we offer: Competitive salary with benefitsFulltime Permanent employment; 40 hours per weekCompany vehicle supplied for work useExcellent Team Culture!Ongoing training and opportunities for professional development and upskillingWhat you will do: Effectively undertake work and to fully utilise the Company's resources and exceed customer expectationsCommunicate and liaise with the supervisor to ensure efficient undertaking of all workMaintain a high level of serviceEnsure company property in their charge such as materials, plant, tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient working conditionMaintain a tidy area in the vicinity of the Fire sprinkler valve room and fire system control panelsEnsure timekeeping and timesheets are as required and accurateMaintain safe practices including tools as required by the EH&S regulationsTo notify the supervisor or manager of any safety hazards in the working environmentHow you will do it: Participate in training provided by the Company and outside sources to keep abreast and ahead of developments in the industry and to improve your own skillsDemonstration of enthusiasm towards products and services both used and provided by the companyPositive attitudes, loyalty, and enthusiasm towards the Company objectivesWhat we look for?
